The older I get the more I find myself enjoying nonfiction writing. Recounting memories and shaping narratives into a way that can be consumed by others is extremely satisfying. The first time someone says they can relate to a story or have had similar experiences, opens up a world of conversation. This can create a connection that might not have otherwise been discovered, and that’s the power of writing.
